The Good: We love this little greenery because it is, in fact, little. The leaves are small, so it’s not overwhelming, just adds a bit of nice green texture. We use it often in wildflower arrangements.
The Bad: We do not find this greenery to be particularly hardy and it does not hold up will in foam or bouts. Works best in bouquets and centerpieces.
- Give the stems a fresh cut, and place in cool water.
- Remove leaves below waterline.
Bupleurum is a ‘Greenery’. Based on our design suggestions and this greenery’s specific bunch size, here’s our quantity recommendation:
- Bridal Bouquet: 1/4 bunch
- Maids: 1/5 bunch
- Bouts: N/A, too delicate
- Corsages: N/A, too delicate
- Centerpieces: 1/5 bunch
- Large Arrangements: 1-2 bunches
Flower Moxie reserves the right to make changes or substitutions. All substitutions are only done as a last resort, and only when the reasons for doing so are reasonable and genuine. For example, if a flower becomes unavailable (off-crop), incorrect color, or not in good condition to grace a wedding function we will substitute a flower that has a similar color and price-point.
Acceptable Subs: There are not many greeneries with Bupleurum’s shape and color so we’d have to pick a substitute based off the vibe of your existing order.
