The Good: Wonderful for tall arrangements! Easy to work with and hardy. Mixes well with stock and snapdragons. Can be used by itself in a tall vase as a clean, modern, stand-alone arrangement.
The Bad: Thin, bendable ‘thorns’, so wear gloves. The stems are not woody, so it is easy to break or bend.
- Give the stems a fresh cut, and place in cool water.
- Remove leaves below waterline.
